Selecting from the Layout Manager
When you have created your own layout and simply exit layout mode, DeskoverX saves your current layout and restores it on the next run completely on its own. But you can also save the layout you just created for later use under a name you choose. This enables you to create your own layout collection that you can load and reuse any time you want. To save the layout you just created in layoutmode, click on the Save Layout button.
Now the window appears. Type the name under which you want to save your layout in the field on the top right of the window. Below the name field is a field where you can optionally enter a short description for this new layout. To further facilitate to distinguish your saved layouts when you want load them again, there is also a small screenshot.
When you have finished entering a name for the layout and the optional description, click on the Save button. Now you can reload your saved layout anytime you want.
