The settings page of the Screensaver plugin
Currently the Screensaver plugin doesn't need much configuration.
In the Name box, you can change the name of this plugin. This name is then subsequently used for the plugin in the program menu and the layout-manager. If you have several Screensaver plugins running in your layout, you should assign a different name to each of them.
The dropdown-box lets you choose from the screensavers that DeskoverX has found in the standard directories, or lets you browse for a screensaver in a different location. The Settings button opens the individual configuration page of the selected screensaver.
The preview area shows a small version of the screensaver. If only a static image is displayed in the preview area, you probably can not use this screensaver with DeskoverX because it can only be operated in fullscreen mode.
Attention!!! Screensavers normally don't have a throttle on their use of CPU power. That means the stress on your system might be very high if you have a Screensaver plugin running. However, DeskoverX sets the screensaver to the lowest priority, so that other applications should respond well to your input and get enough CPU time when they require it.
